The Leviathan was an Astral Being whose sole purpose was to make people’s lives miserable. They would lend their power to Mortals in difficult situations, then make them commit crimes. Their Warlocks would either love them, being bitter at the world, or hate them for forcing them into uncomfortable and dangerous situations.

The Leviathan was killed by Onyxx Morningstar, one of their former warlocks.

Description

Appearance

The Leviathan’s humanoid form resembled that of a tall grey tiefling. They had 11 bright green eyes - 5 pairs, and one in the middle of their forehead - with white pupils. Their hair was tinted green and looked somewhat greasy. Since they did not have a mouth, they used to communicate telepathically, like most Astral Beings. Their body resembled a floor-length grey-green robe, from under which they occasionally exposed their long and thin arms, with long, sharp fingers that seemed to have one too many knuckles.

Their true form was that of a 450 meters long, 80 meter wide worm. Their skin was littered with eyes that frantically look around, rarely blinking. There were 4 rows of spike-like bumps following the length of their body.

The Leviathan’s appearance is not public knowledge.

Personality

The Leviathan was a cruel and manipulative being. They expected their orders to be fulfilled without question. If questioned, they’d grow increasingly frustrated, and would resort of taking control over the warlock’s body, forcing them to carry out the task in the most gruesome way possible.

Followers and warlocks of The Leviathan have no particular symbol by which they can recognize each other, as their work never requires them to seek each other. They carry out their days as normal, with the exception of intentionally manipulating others and causing general disorder.

Onyxx Morningstar

The Leviathan made a deal with Onyxx to show her where her mother is, and grant them power, in exchange for her soul. The Leviathan never intended to give Onyxx the location of their mother in a straightforward manner, instead using wording that made Onyxx believe her mother was dead. The Leviathan manipulated and forced Onyxx to annoy, steal, rob, and kill, forcing him to never stay put.

After Onyxx refused to continue working for them, The Leviathan offered her a final job in exchange for breaking their deal: find and bring them the Heaven’s Hunt bow. Onyxx obliged, severing their connection and getting her soul back.

With the guidance of her Divine parent, Vinen, Onyxx, accompanied by Barbeil, came to the Astral Sea to get the Heaven’s Hunt bow back, as well as kill the Leviathan.

During their encounter, before The Leviathan themselves fell, they clawed Barbeil to death, as their last attempt to make Onyxx’s life miserable.
